reputable construction company and will bring added value to
it. In most cases the people who are normally employed as
cost managers or are qualified quantity surveyors will use
their training as well as their experience and expertise to
keep all the construction costs for each project the company
undertakes in check. In fact much of their time is
specifically focused on dealing with the value and costs of
the construction work being undertaken and will have
qualifications relating to being an economist, estimator or
an accountant. Such people need to be meticulous at their
jobs and be willing to spend as much time as possible to
ensure that the budget does not go over and that any
additional costs are kept to a minimum.
Certainly a company which has an effective construction cost
management team is one which will be asked time and time
again to not only bid of future projects but also actually
to get the work.
